This collection of three nature classics comes with 12 drawing pencils and a $25 gift certificate to allow you to complete the set with your own selection from Poet's Corner Book Shop.  Perhaps a sketch pad or nature journal to record your impressions of your own next trip into the wild?

This little shop holds an ample selection of books, calendars, puzzles, vintage volumes and gifts from which to choose.  It's nestled in the heart of Duncan's Mills, an historic Russian River village with boutique shops, fine art galleries, antiques, artisan wines, unique furnishings, fashionable clothing and gourmet foods.  

The collection includes:

Jack London's The Call of the Wild, a tale of perserverance and loyalty, that comes in a suede-like custom cover with metallic foiling and a ribbon marker;

The Last of the Mohicans, James Pennimore Cooper's novel of a passionate, forbidden romance between Uncas, a young Mohican, and Cora, the daughter of a British Colonel, also in the Paper Mill Press cover with a ribbon marker; 

The Boy Scouts Book of Campfire Stories, a classic first published in the 1920s that contains many of the best stories from within the scouting tradition. Vividly written and highly imaginative, the topics in this superb compilation range from the spooky and ghostly to the adventurous and wondrous; and

Twelve Blackwign Matte soft graphite pencils which are ideal for anyone who prefers a soft, dark line. Each pencil features a timeless matte black finish, iconic square Blackwing ferrule and black eraser.

Item Special Note

Sales tax will be applied.

This item can be mailed to you, you can pick it up (at the Stewards office), or we can deliver it to you (in Sonoma County only).  Winner may select method at the close of the auction. Regular mailing costs or a $20 delivery fee will be charged.

If the item is not picked up by August 14, 2022, it will be mailed to the address provided, and shipping costs will be charged.  If no address has been provided, the sale will be void within 30 days of the auction's closing, the winner may treat their bid as a tax-deductible donation to Stewards, and the item will be resold at a future auction.
