AgriStarts is a company in Apopka, Florida, that clones exciting new varieties of edible plants and tropical plants from tissue culture. Ty Strode, the owner of AgriStarts, has offered to put together a collection of the best big bold foliage plants for municipal containers.
Ty will select and send to you 144 starter “plugs” of bold tropical plants that would be perfect as the “thriller” for containers throughout your community. These “starter plugs” can be grown to full size plants in a greenhouse - or another sunny warm location - in four months. If you don’t need this many big bold plants for your containers, sell them as a fundraiser or add them to your personal collection. These varieties are amazing – and they are hard to find. Some of them will have huge leaves 3 feet tall! Shipping is included.
AgriStarts only sells wholesale so you would not be able to easily find or purchase these varieties. This is really something special that AgriStarts is doing for America in Bloom.
