Item Description
Presenting a hand signed, rare out of print offset lithograph on heavy stock by Rhode Island artist Karl Doerflinger. Title: The Charles I.D. Looff Carousel - Crescent Park CAROUSEL in Riverside, Rhode Island. This piece measures 22" x 33"
Karl Doerflinger is a well known for his whimsical paintings of carousels, amusement parks and happy seashore recreation from days gone by. He rose to national recognition for his most memorable Yankee Magazine cover, and illustrations, "Winter Carousel Party" showing a glowing, moon lit carousel reflecting on a frozen skating pond at Roger Williams Park, Providence, RI
Karl Doerflinger resides in East Providence, Rhode Island and grew up in Ohio and Tennessee in the 1950s and 1960s. He is a graduate of the Cleveland Institue of Art, taught painting for over 10 years and had severl showing in tghe mid west, south and east coast.
Karl has been a member of the Providence Art Club and shared a studio and had a close association with renowned New England artist, Maxwell Mays.
This print has been beautifully framed by Donna Neville Custom Framing located in Warren, RI
