Item Description

The insert states: Located in the Cathedral of Algiers, this is the first Roman Labyrinth built to convey a Christian meaning.  The center is filled with letters that spell SANCTA IGLESIA, or Holy Church, that can be read in all directions from the center.  Circa: 324 A.D. Labyrinths are viewed as a metaphor for life's journey.

A wonderful addition to our 2022 auction was generously donated by John Ridder of Paxworks.  The labyrinth comes with a suede pouch.
