Item Description

Candlewick Crystal sectioned serving plate by Imperial Glass Company, Ohio.

This item is a rare treat! A crystal serving plate with a sauce bowl and lid that fits in the middle, plus the matching glass spoon.

The sectioned plate is 10 1/4" wide and is about as deep as an ordinary pie plate. The bowl is of clear glass and is 3 inches tall without the top and 5 inches with the top on. There is no glass beading on the bowl but the top is edged in them. The top has an opening so the spoon sits perfectly in the bowl. It is a beautiful platter because of its striking simplicity and elegance.  The glass beading around the edges enhance this lovely vintage platter that will grace your table! Perfect for holiday appetizers.

Candlewick became one of the all-time best sellers because it was a high-quality crystal and affordable for the average family in 1936. Imperial Glass created the glass jewel for the common person's use. The distinctive glass beading on each piece is Candlewick's signature.
