Julie St. Jean is a regular donor to the auction. She creates art inspired by nature. Ms. St. Jean uses multiple mediums in her art including oil, acrylic, rock, wood and as well as other natural elements. She leans towards soft colors, blurred lines and a pleasing natural softness.
"The Tree" was created in the artist's favorite place, her home, overlooking scenic conservation land behind the property. Ms. St. Jean created the piece during times of serenity and self-reflection during the warm late afternoon sun in the summer of 2022. Using an array of naturally occurring items and natural fibers, the piece brings the feeling of togetherness of family and friends.
