Item Description
Wool and mixed fibers
12" x 8" x 16" collar
Susie Stephenson has been a rug hooker for many years known for her playful original designs, wild use of color, and reuse of woolen garments. Her grandmother taught her to appreciate wool by taking out zippers, buttons, and hems from old garments to reuse and it is a practice she continues to this day. She has written several books, and speaks to interested groups about her art. Susie teaches classes in her Maine studio.
This delightful wearable was purchased at The Center for Maine Craft in West Gardiner, a retail store and gallery selling and exhibiting the work of over 300 Maine craft artists. This circulette infinity scarf is soft to the touch and dazzling to the eye. The perfect embellishment to dress up an ensemble!
