Item Description
Decorative fruit bowl is hand-turned of spalted maple Spalted maple is wood with partial decay, due to the presence of fungi. This gives the wood dark contrasting lines and streaks. The bowl is treated with food-safe finish to preserve the natural hardwood grains and markings.
Created by Paul Butler of Butler Furniture in Fitchburg MA.
Bowl is 11" in diameterm 3 1/4" tall and 5" at the base. New, never used item.
