Item Description
This exquisite set of Wedgwood Bone China would be perfect for a holiday "tea for two" party! It is in pristine condition and contains:
- 1 Teapot with lid
- 1 sugar bowl with lid
- 1 creamer
- 2 cups and saucers
Pattern features Green Chinese Tigers, and Scalloped, Gold Trim on a white background.
The "dog-of-foo" design--or Chinese Tigers, as it was called in the early nineteenth century--was originally produced by Wedgwood in 1815, then resurrected in the 1980s as part of their Williamsburg Collection. The pattern is found on pieces of a tea service in the Wedgwood museum and on a plate owned by Colonial Williamsburg.
All are in perfect condition, no chips, stains, cracks or crazing, gold trim bright and intact.
