We know that added effort in the vineyard and cellar leads to greater enjoyment among our visitors and wine club members during their Napa wine tasting. Our passion is infectious and powers everything we do, from the close-knit bonds we've forged with growers to the way we present the wines from our Yountville estate.
GRAPE TO GLASS TOUR & TASTING: Enjoy the ABC’s of winemaking from grape to glass. Stroll through our Yountville vineyard exploring our farming relationship with terroir and climate, followed by a tank and barrel discussion and finishing with a seasonal selection of five wines.
Wine gift includes:
- 2018 Merlot Yountville: Our Merlot grapes are estate grown on the winery’s Spanos Berberian Estate Vineyard in Yountville approximately one mile south of the Yountville Hills. Upon smelling our 2018 Merlot you’ll be greeted with aromas of cherry pie and beautiful hibiscus floral impressions, along with hints of bay leaf and savory herb. On the palate, cherry flavors lead, with savory and tart nuances of pomegranate molasses. The small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend gives the wine length on the finish and added complexity. The supple and silky texture belies the structure that will surely allow it to age beautifully.
- 2020 Chardonnay Yountville Estate Napa Valley: Our Chardonnay grapes are grown on the estate Spanos Berberian Vineyard surrounding the winery and consist of three different clones of Chardonnay. The 2020 Estate Chardonnay reveals notes of lemon merengue, pineapple and golden ripe apple, adorned with delicate otes of honeysuckle and toasted brioche.
