Item Description
Are you a history buff? Immerse yourself in Hamburg Township's past with this package of 2 books written by local historian, Joyce DeWolf Terry. The first book, "Be Ye Steadfast," recounts the story of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church -- the oldest continuously used Episcopal church in the state. Located in the village of Hamburg, St. Stephen's was built in 1844 and has been attended by 7 generations of the DeWolf family.
The second publication, "Memories: Hamburg Settlement Days--150 Years," was compiled in 1981 to commemorate the arrival of the first landowners in the township. "Memories" offers "...pictures and a history of Hamburg gleaned from written fact, books about the area, and anecdotes and 'bits and pieces' handed down by word of mouth from local families."
This package makes a great gift!
Item Special Note
We kindly ask that winning bidders outside the local area cover the necessary shipping costs, if any.
