Item Description
Personal, Purposeful and Private sessions with a Veriditas Faculty Member This year, Veriditas Faculty Members are each offering a special individualized 60-minute session with a winning bidder via Zoom. Of course, each one brings a unique set of interests and perspectives to their work. Maybe you share an interest and would like to incorporate new ideas to your own practice of work. Or, maybe you attended a Friday walk or webinar and want to learn more about something you heard. Perhaps you have ideas you’d like to develop further. This is your time and your topic. The faculty bios will also give you a great place to start thinking about what your session might be.
The faculty member will connect with her/his winning bidder to schedule a 60-minute Zoom session on the topic chosen by that bidder after the close of the auction. When you meet, your faculty member will hold space and help you make the most of your time and this personal connection. Topic suggestions are listed below, though you are also welcome to create your own topic as well.
Please note: private sessions are via zoom and the faculty member will work with you on scheduling this at the conclusion of the auction.
FACULTY MEMBER: Barrie Gibby

- Identifying Trees and Tree Culture as a catalyst for also understanding the Celtic Tree Zodiac, tree healing components and the parallel life cycle that can be partnered with labyrinth walks.
- Using Rivers/Water as a parallel life cycle focus for labyrinth walks and group work.
- Labyrinth themes and rituals to share – for the seasons, moon phases, and world causes. Attachments of information, certain slides, rituals and photos available.
Faculty Bio:
Barrie Carter Gibby works on that creative edge between the branches of words and movement expression. A long-time educator, social justice activist, musician, event design business owner, theater director, dancer and labyrinth facilitator, Barrie entwines her many loves and studies to facilitate retreats to a worldwide audience on a variety of cultural and spiritual themes, all grounded in gifts from the labyrinth. She is especially fascinated by the parallels of the mystical Celtic and Native American cultures and their loving embrace of nature-centered whole life. Barrie longs for the return of her once annual pilgrimage to Chartres Cathedral labyrinth in France and other favorite pilgrimage destinations, where her passion is revitalized for her labyrinth work. As a member of the Veriditas Faculty, Veriditas Council and an Advanced Certified Labyrinth facilitator, Barrie finds sacred spaces everywhere.
