Dusty Baker is the Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors for Lawai International Center.

The Baker Family Wines are donating three bottles of wine:

Zinfandel, 2017, Baker Family Proprietary Red Wine, 2019 and Hammerin Hank, 2019.

The Hammerin Hank is named after a friend of over 5 decades, Hank Aaron, for his love of Cabernet.  The number 755 signifies the number of homeruns during his career in the major league.

We apologize..the wine cannot be shipped and needs to be picked up at our Lihue office.

From The Dugout to the Vineyard:

Baseball manager Dusty Baker teamed up with winemaker Chik Brenneman to create an urban winery brand specializing in handcrafted and limited productions wines.

Starting out as a gentleman's vineyard in Dusty's backyard, the wine initially was given away to friends and family. After a consistent level of praise and acclaim for Dusty's 2012 Vintage Syrah, the duo decided to expand their production and to "go pro!"

In 2013 Dusty and Chik established B and B Wine Company, LLC which now produces and bottles their wines in West Sacramento, California.

During his career, Dusty received many awards and accolades including Baseball All Star twice, and Manager of the Year three times. He was the first Major League Baseball manager to reach playoffs and win a division title with five different teams, having accomplished both feats with each team he managed.

Dusty can be considered a multi dimensional man with his various interests off the field.  Often he can be seen pruning grapes in his vineyard.  He founded Baker Energy Team, a solar energy company in northern California.  His love of music can be seen in the book he authored, "Kiss the Sky," in 2015 in which he chronicled his love of music and his trip to the Monterey Pops Festival where he saw Jimmy Hendricks in 1967.

Dusty Baker is truly a giant of his time.
