Item Description

This light green, wheel-thrown porcelain vase is a lovely piece by Peggy Loudon. Special details such as the textured/patterned top edge and soft ridges around the body, create a one-of-a-kind piece. The approximate dimensions are 6.75" tall, 5.25" across the top, 7" at widest part, and 3" across the bottom.

Peggy Loudon is a nationally acclaimed potter who creates beautiful porcelain works in her Arcata studio. Her 25 year career started with studies at UC Santa Cruz, in Europe, and then at Humboldt State University.

Peggy's work has been featured in many exhibits and art shows across the country. Venues include the American Crafts Council Show in San Francisco, as well as the prestigious Smithsonian Craft Show in Washington D.C.

Below is a quote from Peggy's website:

"By integrating form, proportion & texture, I strive to create work
that brings a sense of beauty and calm to the home.
Work that transcends time and will continue to have integrity
throughout my lifetime and beyond."
