Item Description
Spend one week (Sunday-to-Sunday) in a beautiful, airy contemporary home in the Katama area of Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. The home is in a quiet neighborhood along a bike path. You can bike ride 10-15 minutes in one direction to enjoy the wide sandy beach and big waves of South Beach, or 10-15 minutes in the other direction to visit the shopping and restaurants of downtown Edgartown.
The lovely home has a bright cathedral ceiling living area and a full kitchen, plus an expansive outdoor deck with dining area. The home has 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, plus a 3rd floor loft sleeping area. A washer and dryer are available, and parking is free on the premises. Amenities include beach essentials (beach umbrella, beach chairs, beach toys), WIFI, cable TV, and a BBQ gas grill. See photos and description here: https://www.airbnb.com/h/beautifulkatama.
The owners follow the strict Covid-19 cleaning protocols developed by Airbnb, and there is a cleaning fee (typically around $180) in addition to the cost of this Auction item. There is a linen service available that will also supply sheets and towels for a cost of $300-$600, depending on the number of people. That includes blankets, too, and toppers for all the mattresses and pillows. All are recommended with Covid-19 precautions. People can absolutely bring their own sheets/towels to avoid this fee.
