Item Description

Silver cuff bracelet of six panels with scenes of young men in different poses (perhaps doing martial arts?) engraved on light colored rectangles surounded by intricate silver filigree work. The closure is a box clasp with a security chain.

The donor provided some history on the item "The carved bracelet with silver was given to me over 50 years ago when my father returned from a business trip to the orient. I think it may be from Japan."

Definitely vintage but the condition is good with only small breaks in the filigree. The silver is tarnished.

Width about 1.5", length 7" without clasp, inside diameter about 6.5"

This is such an unusual item, difficult to describe. An almost identical item was found on eBay from a 100% positive seller. It is named "Vintage Chinese Scholars silver on copper filigree Bos Taurus cow horn bracelet." It is described as Art Deco (1915-1935), silver over copper, with engraved panels of cow horn, with a sale price of $145.
