Item Description
This set of two Modernist brooches are crafted from sterling silver. Perfect for someone who enjoys bold, simple design. Both pieces were produced in Taxco.
Disk with swirl pattern brooch is marked Mexico, 925 and TN-82. T for Taxco, N for the artist, and 82 meaning the artist was the 82nd smith to register a mark at the city's assay office.
Squiggle brooch is marked Mexico, 925, and TO-40 (?). Again T for Taxco, O for the artist who was the 40th smith to register a mark at the city's assay office. This brooch also has a loop to use the piece as a pendant.
Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition.
Details: Disk is roughly 2" in diameter. Squiggle measures 3" long x 1 3/4" at widest point.
