Item Description
Jill M. Pottle is a fine artist from Massachusetts and she exhibits her paintings and pastels locally and nationally. She has her MFA from the Museum School in Boston. This exquisite small canvas captures the charm of the Monadnock region at the ground level--an answer to the the many artworks capturing the grandeur of Mt. Monadnock.
A Statement from the Artist "Plein Air painting is an important event for me. Working outside from life with the natural beauty and response of nature, excites the eye. My desire is to capture the gesture of life and time in motion in one painting. The changing light will limit my time on a painting which makes my decision making for color and value relationships more concise with conviction and power in each brush stroke."
