Joshua Ben Paskowitz, surfer and an artist, is the last son of Doc Dorian Paskowitz. Joshua is all about expressing his narratives through art - acrylics on canvas and fiberglass. His art is a tribute to the surf history that the Paskowitz family is a major part of.
?I had spent my early years devoted to drawing with pen and ink while obsessed with comics, anime, and heavy metal magazines,? says Paskowitz. ?Later on, I picked up a brush and really committed to the painting and development of a bold graphic style that I hope still has a remnant of the great stuff that inspired me as a kid. I really had to find my own way and it forced me to have my own voice, a lot like my Dad, he could have been a regular Doctor ..but there wouldn?t be a Paskowitz Family as we know it...So even though Doc and I have both taken a different road it?s the same Heart and the same Aloha. I do try in my way, to achieve a little bit of that in my Art.?
The board is called ?Saint Michael?s Victory?.
