New York native, Kirsten Sadlier, has her father and grandparents to thank for her early exposure to the art world. While they worked as artists and a publisher, Kirsten was instilled with a passion for painting and creating at a young age. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, Kirsten found a perfect marriage of creating unique visuals with her love for meeting new people and constant seeking of adventures.
Drawing inspiration from quiet moments in life’s loud experiences, she approaches every piece as its own story, meant to spread her joy and zest for life. Kirsten hopes to push the boundaries of painting in layers, exploring depths of movement and composition, rendering “happiness in its raw form.” Creating surfboards was an organic period of growth for her art. Kirsten works with many talented designers around the country, and her work can be found at several upscale hotels and restaurants. But it was when she began surfing with her family that she decided to combine her love of the ocean with her art, all while repurposing and giving used surfboards a new life.
Kirsten is currently gathering her inspiration from the desert life of Palm Springs, and on the coast of Newport Beach where she resides with her two sons, and husband.
The board is titled “Soleil blanc”.

Payment will be processed post-contest and winner will be contacted by the resort.
Packing, shipping, and handling are not included. Boards can be picked up at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel or the purchaser can arrange for shipping. Boards will be available for pick-up and shipping after Monday, January 2, 2023. Boards must be picked up no later than Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
