Item Description

Discovery Museum is a hands-on museum for families that blends science, nature, and play. Enjoy this accessible space to play, explore, and learn together. There are intimate, immersive experiences for the youngest learners and galleries of STEAM experiences for all ages, including water, light and color, sound, making and creating, math, and a 14' interactive air maze. Certificate must be redeemed in a single visit and must be surrendered at the time of visit. Certificate is transferable and must be used by the expiration date. Children under one and teachers are always free.

The museum has been honored with a 2018 John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts LEAD Community Asset Award; named Boston Magazine's 2018 Best of Boston, Best Family-Friendly Museum, West; Gold, Best Museum, Wicked Local Reader's Choice Awards; and "Best of the Best," in the Boston Parents Paper Family Favorites awards.

Admission includes access to both the museum and the Discovery Woods outdoor nature playscape, with a wiggly bridge, rain garden, cargo net climb, nest swing, and 550 square foot treehouse abutting 180 acres of conservation land. All exhibits are hands-on, low-tech, open-ended, and interactive, to encourage play and exploration, and the entire campus and exhibits are accessible. Come play and learn together!

You will receive a confirmation email for each item you were the highest bidder on and won when the auction closes on December 5th!  

How do you get your items?

If you are located in New Hampshire: 

Smaller items (i.e. gift card, tickets, etc.) will be mailed at a flat rate of $3 beginning on Wednesday, December 7th.
·        If your item(s) are able to fit into a small package, it will be mailed at a flat rate of $5 beginning on Wednesday, December 7th.

·        If your item(s) are able to fit into a medium package, it will be mailed at a flat rate of $8 beginning on Wednesday, December 7th.

·        If your item is oversized and requires in person delivery, you will be contacted directly by Maria Benzekri (MariaB@sonh.org) to determine delivery arrangements.  Items will be delivered on Wednesday, December 7th & Thursday, December 8th.  

If you are located outside of New Hampshire:

·        SONH plans to ship items beginning on Wednesday, December 7th.

Smaller items (i.e. gift card, tickets, etc.) will be mailed at a flat rate of $3 beginning on Wednesday, December 7th.
·        For larger items, we plan to ship in flat rate boxes as much as possible. You will be contacted by Maria Benzekri (MariaB@sonh.org) so you are aware of the shipping cost that will be added to your winning bid.

Reminder to all bidders, be sure to update your address and credit card information prior to the auction closing to ensure proper delivery/payment for your winning item(s).
