This Dog's Back Story: Maddie Two was evacuated from Louisiana after Hurricane Laura. He was part of a program run through a correctional facility to socialize dogs and rehabilitate inmates. We are grateful they made it through the hurricane and Maddie Two is ready to find a forever home!
Maddie Two is Looking For: Someone who will give me the love and attention I deserve. I came from far away to find my forever home and would love to have someone who likes to take walks, maybe go to the dog park. I am not as young as some of my friends but I am still a sweet boy who likes to be around other dogs and people. I would love to go to obedience class so I can show you what a good dog I can be.
What My Foster Says About Me: Maddie Two is a big fan of fetch! He'd love a home with another dog and a fenced yard where he can chase his ball and play fetch. He loves his toys and tennis balls, but is not the biggest fan of his crate, climbing stairs, or getting into/out of the car - though he is working on all three and has already made some progress. Maddie Two is doing well on his leash and enjoys both longer and shorter walks. At ten years old he still plays like a young dog with a good bit of energy for his age!
Currently Living At: DC area foster
