Are you ready for an experience unlike any other? A place where sapphire waters fade into golden sand and unspoiled wildernesses.  Get ready to escape to the Galapagos Islands!

Your expedition for two begins in dazzling Quito, nestled beneath sleepy volcanos and the gentle gaze of the iconic Penecillo statue. Here you’ll stroll along the cobblestone streets with a local guide to explore captivating colonial-era sites in the city center before your journey to The Monument to the Equator, where you can stand in both hemispheres at once!

Then you are off to Santa Cruz Island and your gorgeous bayside hotel.  You can head to the Charles Darwin Research center to see behind the scenes wildlife conservation, or you might want to take a siesta with one of the friendly local sea lions.

The next day, you’ll sail across the Canal Itabana to Bartolome Island, an unpopulated paradise where cones of volcanic rock jut skyward from the waves. You’ll feel as if you’re in a mythical land as you take a short hike across the alien landscape to Pinnacle Rock and swim through cobalt blue water alongside penguins and brightly colored tropical fish.

Following your three nights on Santa Cruz Island, you’ll set off by speedboat to your next destination, San Cristobal, famous for its blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds!  Here you will spend a full day with a Galapagos Naturalist Guide and receive special access to Bahia Rosa Blanca, where ruby red crabs skitter across the black rocks and endemic birds call out from the mangroves.  By the time you return to Quito, you’ll be in complete harmony with the animals of Galapagos Islands.

This bucket-list trip for two includes 8 nights’ accommodations, day tours of Quito, Bartolome Island and San Cristobal, transfers between cities, and a magnificent memory mosaic that will stay with you forever.
