Groth 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, Oakville, Napa Valley, 750mL - 1 Bottle

The 2018 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is an attractive ruby-garnet color that is strikingly intense. When swirled in the glass, it unleashes an array of aromas. The initial blueberry and fresh blackberry aromas are joined with rose petal, black tea, cigar box and baking spices. When tasting the wine, the texture is immediately noteworthy. It is at the same time extremely soft but also rich and balanced. Flavors of toast and vanilla mingle with blackberry and tart red currant, then transition to a juicy and long finish.

Fleury Estate: 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, Howell Mountain, Napa Valley, 750mL - 1 Bottle

A deep set and richly beautiful garnet in color, the 2014 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of blackberry, black cherry, graphite, saddle leather, toasty oak and dried herbs. Hints of forest floor and spring flowers funnel in after a minute or so in the glass. The densely layered nose is just the start to what is a unmistaken Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Fabulously concentrated, yet elegant with its presence. On the palate, notes of blackberry, blueberry, cedar and graphite dance on your tongue. The velvety tannins lead to a long and lasting finish. Full bodied and voluptuous, this is a stunner to enjoy for years to come.

The Howell Mountain Appellation, with its rolling hills and unique microclimates, offers spectacular vineyards and some of the most wonderful and sought-after wines. Standing gracefully above the valley floor and overlooking Saint Helena, Howell Mountain sees slightly warmer nighttime temperatures and cooler mid-day temperatures. The difference in temperature is still pronounced enough to maintain balanced acidity and allows the berries to develop somewhat a thicker skin that imparts intense color, texture and structure to the wines.

Producing just 4,000 cases of wine per year the goal at Fleury has always been to make 100% GOOD JUICE.

Fleury Estate Winery owns 50 acres of premium vineyard land in the heart of the Napa Valley. With vineyards in different appellations and elevations, we are able to craft consistent, high-quality Napa Valley wines year after year.

"The grapes take center stage in every one of our wines. It's our mission to make sure the very best goes into every barrel, bottle and glass of our wines." -Brian Fleury

Fleury Estate Winery is a family-owned winery in the heart of the Napa Valley. Brian Fleury made the decision to turn his skills as a successful Bay Area businessman to the wine business purchasing the estate in Rutherford in 2000. Brian has always had a passion for fine wines and specifically Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley. So, when he was ready for a change Brian decided to turn to a career in winemaking he brought his entire family with him to the Napa Valley. Upon arrival in Napa, Brian set about learning how to make wine from various mentors and friends in the valley. The Fleury Estate Winery is the result of years of passion, hard work and dedication that Brian and Claudia love to share with their guests.

Maroon Wines - 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Coombsville, Napa Valley, 750mL - 1 Bottle

Our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is harvested from our home vineyard in the Coombsville District of Napa Valley. It is a little cooler in the southern end of the valley, and we benefit from this by being able to ripen the grapes slowly and evenly. This wine was aged in French oak barrels for 30 months before bottling.

These wines have rich, alluring aromas of dark fruit and balanced oak. On the palate, the wine is bold, showing dark fruit flavors, nicely balanced with rich and creamy oak tones. The finish is long and lingering.

Name of Winery: Maroon Wines

Bottle Size: 750ml

Number of Bottles: One

Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignion

Appellation: Coombsville, Napa Valley

Maroon hand crafts a number of very small production wines from vineyard sources that may change from year to year. While the vineyard sources may change, their wine making philosophy does not – focusing on creating 100% varietal wines (no blending). These wines are often only made available to their wine club.
