Item Description
The Dancer by New York artist Daniel Maidman, is an original drawing created with Prismacolor pencil on Canson paper. It measures 11" x 15" and is unframed.
Maidman is best known for his vivid depiction of the figure. His drawings and paintings are included in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, the New Britain Museum of American Art, the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Long Beach Museum of Art. His art and writing on art have been featured in The Huffing Post, Whiteout, Poets/Artists, Artiness, Forbes, W, and many others. He has been shown in solo shows in New York City and in group shows across the United States and Europe. He designs coins for the US Mint and the Canadian mint. He is a repeat guest critic at the New York Academy of Art. His books, Daniel Madman: Nudes and Theses: Vincent Desirer on Art, are available from Griffith Moon Publishing. He works in Brooklyn, New York
