Item Description
"Makin' Hay" is a wonderful, soft pastel portrait of two scarecrows residing along the YGP section of the Mill Creek Bike Path.
Artwork dimensions: 9" x 12" on textured hardboard.
Framed dimensions: 12" x 15".
Margie is an artist who has passions for both painting and giving. A few years ago, she and her husband, Bob, decided that all of Margie's paintings would be donated to worthwhile causes. The Youth Garden Project is honored that Margie and Bob support our work.
The "Makin' Hay" story
These two were found in attendance at the Moab Youth Garden Project's Mother's Day Brunch, 2021. For some reason they did not join the rest of us who were being served scrumptious delights on garden tables with vases of flowers. In fact, we did not see them until we wandered the Youth Garden Grounds and discovered them standing near the fields. They seemed happy. And apparently they were having so much fun, they still had not left the grounds two weeks later.
