Discovery Museum is a hands-on museum for families that blends science, nature, and play.
Enjoy this accessible space to play, explore, and learn together. There are intimate, immersive experiences for the youngest learners and galleries of STEAM experiences for all ages, including water, light & color, sound, making & creating, math, and a 14' interactive air maze.
The museum has been honored with a 2018 John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts LEADŽ Community Asset Award; named Boston Magazine's 2018 Best of Boston(R), Best Family-Friendly Museum, West; Gold, Best Museum, Wicked Local Reader's Choice Awards; and "Best of the Best," in the Boston Parents Paper Family Favorites awards.
Admission includes access to both the museum and the Discovery Woods outdoor nature playscape, with a wiggly bridge, rain garden, cargo net climb, nest swing, and 550sf treehouse abutting 180 acres of conservation land.
All exhibits are hands-on, low-tech, open-ended, and interactive, to encourage play and exploration, and the entire campus and exhibits are accessible. Come play and learn together!
