STARLINGS IMAGINATION STATIONS

Under the direction of Laura Dillman

Weeklong immersions in creative play, improvisation and physical storytelling where exploration and imagination soars.

Imagination Station 1: Imaginary Friends

Where do imaginary friends come from? And what happens after their child grows up? Build your very own imaginary friend – or become an imaginary friend for others! Bring your ideas to life in a never-before-seen show of your own creation. Imaginations required. Prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! Inspired by The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend by Dan Santat and Imaginary Fred by Eoin Colfer.

July 17-21; Ages 7-9

Imagination Station 2: Monsters under the Bed

What if YOU were the monster under the bed – what kind would you be? Or what if your best friend was a monster? Explore the world of bedtime monsters and the kids who love to ‘fear’ them. Write and star in your very own bedtime story! Prepare to be scared silly! Based on How I Met My Monster, I Need My Monster, Hey, That’s My Monster by Amanda Noll, and Leonardo, the Terrible Monster and Sam, the Most Scaredy-cat Kid in the Whole World by Mo Willems.

July 24-28; Ages 7-9
