Martin Golland spent his early years in Istanbul before moving to Ottawa in 1991. He received his MFA from the University of Guelph, ON (2006) and his BFA from Concordia University (1998). He has exhibited nationally and internationally, including “Adisokamagan: We All Become Stories” at the Ottawa Art Gallery (2018) “Human Nature” at the Carleton University Art Gallery (2016), “Imaging Disaster” at Museum London, ON (2013), “The Archivist’s Etagère” at Birch Contemporary in Toronto (2012), and “Dark Town” at Felix Ringel Galerie, Dusseldorf (2007).

Martin Golland passe ses jeunes années à Istanbul avant de s’installer à Ottawa en 1991. Il obtient une maîtrise en beaux-arts de l’Université de Guelph, en Ontario (2006) et un baccalauréat en beaux-arts de l’Université Concordia (1998). Il a exposé tant au pays qu’à l’international, notamment dans le cadre de l’exposition « Àdisòkàmagan / Nous connaître un peu nous-mêmes » à la Galerie d’art d’Ottawa (2018), « Human Nature » à la Galerie d’art de l’Université Carleton (2016), « Imaging Disaster » au Museum London, en Ontario (2013), « The Archivist’s Etagère » chez Birch Contemporary à Toronto (2012), et « Dark Town » à la Felix Ringel Galerie, Dusseldorf (2007).
