Bid now on this incredible Family Picnic at Glen Echo! The auction winner will receive four carousel tickets, four tickets to the world-renowned Puppet Company or Adventure Theater (gift certificate, winner must call the theater for reservations), a stylish picnic blanket or tablecloth, and an incredible spread of delicious treats. With a delicious spread of homemade specialty sandwiches, fruit, snack chips, canned seltzer, and delectable oversized cookies, the whole family is sure to be happy and satisfied.

This incredible picnic package will be dropped off at Glen Echo Park on a mutually agreeable date and time, giving you the perfect opportunity to enjoy all that this beautiful outdoor space has to offer. 

Sandwich options (Choose up to 2 - Chelle will make two of each):

  • Currently Nutty - chicken salad with currants, almonds, and red onion on white or whole wheat
  • Brie Pear - slightly melted brie and pear on French baguette
  • BBQ pulled pork with coleslaw on brioche buns
  • hummus or lentil pate with cucumber, tomato, and sprouts
  • The Deli Sampler (for 4) - an entire Italian loaf sectioned into four parts with different deli meats and cheeses, lettuce, and tomato

Glen Echo Park is one of the finest cultural resources in the Washington, DC, area. It is home to 13 resident artists and arts organizations, a thriving social dance program, a restored 1921 Dentzel Carousel, two award-winning children's theaters, a weekend drop-in art program for children, numerous art studios and galleries, a nature program, and hundreds of classes in visual and performing arts, including ceramics, painting, photography, glass, music, dance, and more.
