Item Description

Enjoy a family membership for the Trustees and horse trailer sticker too so you can have the thrill of horse back riding on Cranes Beach!

The Trustees invite you to get out and explore Massachusetts. Go relax on the beach, horseback ride on beach, bike through the woods, have a picnic in the park, or run the kids around! They have thousands of events and programs for you to enjoy across the state at our inspired places. Choose a favorite activity or discover something new at their Museums, Houses & Gardens. From the tracks of dinosaurs and the settlements of Mohicans to the stone walls of colonial farmers, The Trustees of Reservations care for and share an incredible array of places and things that illuminate who we were, who we are now, and who we will be.

HORSEBACK RIDING ON CRANE BEACH
Between October 1 and March 31, we welcome horses for riding on Crane Beach. All horses must arrive in a trailer with a current Crane Beach Horse Permit. In addition to having a valid Horse Permit, to visit Crane Beach a Timed Entry Pass is required on weekends and strongly encouraged on weekdays. This includes Permit Holders, Horse Trailer Permit Holders, Members, and the public. As always, entry is free for the Crane Beach permit-holding vehicle towing the horse trailer. Others arriving in separate vehicles are subject to regular Crane Beach admission fees. For more information, visit here.

ABOUT
Founded by landscape architect Charles Eliot in 1891, The Trustees has, for more than 125 years, been a catalyst for important ideas, endeavors, and progress in Massachusetts.

Who We Are
As a steward of distinctive and dynamic places of both historic and cultural value, The Trustees is the nation’s first and Massachusetts’ largest preservation and conservation nonprofit, and its landscapes and landmarks continue to inspire discussion, innovation, and action today as they did in the past. Supported by members, friends and donors, The Trustees’ more than 100 reservations are destinations for residents, members, and visitors alike, welcoming millions of guests annually.

What We Do
We enjoy and care for more than 100 special places—nearly 27,000 acres—all around Massachusetts. And we are actively building an extended family of friends, neighbors, and partners across the state that can help in many different ways. Each year, more than 2 million people visit our reservations, 250,000 people participate in our more than 5,000 programs and events, and volunteers contribute over 50,000 hours of assistance in all aspects of our work. The Trustees is a vibrant and growing network of people who are committed to preserving the Commonwealth’s landscapes and keeping open space open for everyone, forever.
