Item Description
Win a Handmade Decorative Shield from Bayaal!
These wooden shields are hand carved and painted from Cameroon. These types of shields were traditionally used as tools in combat and warrior ceremonies by the Bamiléké Tribe. Now, they are symbols of the Bamiléké's history and identity. As with all handmade items, variations occur. No two pieces are exactly the same.
Wipe with a damp cloth. Dry completely. Avoid harsh cleaners or chemicals. Please handle with care. Handmade in Cameroon.
Bayaal is in Park Slope, Brooklyn located at 158 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217.
Shield must be picked up in person.
