Artist Statement:
On my many trips to Stellwagen Bank to see the whales, I was filled with a deep sense of love when a curious whale would interact with us. The unique plaster finishes I created capture the filtered and shimmering light of the water as the whale would play just below and on the surface. In honor of my love for these majestic creatures, I strive to include the word "love" in all my works.
Artist Biography:
I trained with Master Artisans for over ten years specializing in Slaked Lyme Venetian Plaster and Wood Grain finishes. My work has been featured in various prestigious publications. I have been recognized for my work by the Brevard County Builders Association and projects in Brevard and Palm Beach Counties. After returning home to Marblehead, I started a company with my husband called Maintain Domain of Marblehead. We have been providing services to homeowners on the north shore since 2011.
