Item Description
"Candy Cod" by Nancy Marland
Medium: Polymer Clay
Size: 19" x 8"
Artist Statement:
As much as I work with polymer clay in my jewelry designs, I never have I been so free and playful with color as I have been with this Cod creation, and I've enjoyed every minute of it.
Artist Biography:
Nancy Marland is a jewelry designer (www.nancymarland.com) working with sterling silver and polymer clay. At the heart of her work is a playful contrast between the precious metal and polymer clay-the shiny, reflective quality of silver against the colorful, patterned, matte polymer-bridging the organic with the man-made, with one foot in the natural world and the other modern and whimsical. nancymarland.com
