"Gadus Black" by Thomas Harney
Medium: Latex and lacquer
Size: 19" x 8"
Inspired by the Whale silhouette found at Arnould Gallery & Framery, this silhouette is a classic. Simple, powerful, and timeless.
The maker of this piece, Thomas Harney, visited his father's hometown of Marblehead throughout his youth and became a resident in the late 1990s. On the afternoon of April 20th this year, the self proclaimed "Least Accomplished Person Ever to have Lived" turned over a new leaf and made himself a promise - make stuff. This is his first work.
