Item Description
2 Handmade Pottery Mugs. These mugs are wheel thrown from a white stoneware. The bottom is trimmed after drying a bit, and handles attached. They then need to be bone dry prior to the first firing to 1945°. After cooling the bisque-fired mugs are inspected and two glazes are applied. A copper & a white glossy glaze. Where the two colors overlap a unique third color is created. They are again fired to 2232°. After cooling the bottoms are sanded to 1500 grit with diamond sanding pads. They are made with care and each, while similar, is unique.
