Item Description
A beautiful, hand-lacquered fountain pen with a 14kt gold nib and wooden box and a lithograph of "How Sweet it is to be Loved by You" by Marko Mavrovich.
"Ishime" is roughly translated to "stone path" which is represented on the cap and barrel as the design is hand drawn into the wet lacquer. The Maki-e technique is called Kawari-nuri meaning "unique painting" which is applied to a brass barrel.
"How Sweet it is to be Loved by You" by Marko Mavrovich (2021). 11 x 10" Lithograph with spot varnish. Printed signature lower right. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity. Unframed.
