Item Description
2.5" dia., 3.5"H. This shrinkpot was crafted by Scott Johnson, Vesterheim Gold Medal woodworker, and decorated with kolrosing by Vesterheim's 2023 Folk Art Apprentices: Janette Dragvold, Sheila Oberreuter, Kristine Barton, Christie Ericson, Lorri Wright, and Josh Torkelson. Folk Art Instructors who taught during the 2023 Folk Art Apprentice retreat are also included: Scott Johnson, Ruth Green, Kristie Bissell, Hannah Garry, Laura Berlage, Patti Goke, Jess Hirsch, Liz Bucheit, and Charles Banks. Piece is dated and signed in kolrosing by the artists. A rooster and "Decorah, Iowa" decorate the front of the shrink pot. A unique piece of Vesterheim Folk Art School history! Artists: Scott Johnson, Vesterheim Gold Medal woodworker; and Vesterheim's 2023 Folk Art School Apprentices.
