Item Description

Adventure the high seas this summer for a full day of fishing in Casco Bay! Venture on a state of the art fishing boat. A lobster roll lunch and case of local beer is provided. Just bring sunblock and a good luck charm.

Leaves from Spring Point Marina in South Portland, ME.

 

Tackle, bait, fuel, ice, water, light breakfast, lobster rolls and one case of Bissell Brothers beer all included!

 

Fishing charter for four (4) people during the summer of 2024.  We primarily target blue fin tuna, but, we will also try for striped bass, bluefish, shark, haddock, halibut and cod (as allowed per state and federal restrictions).

 

The Boat

 

The Cross Check is a 34-foot Pursuit with twin diesel power.  She has state of the art electronics and all the required US Coast Guard safety gear is inspected and certified each year.  We have full restroom facilities on board.

 

What is provided?

 

All fishing tackle, bait, fuel, ice, waters, light breakfast, full lobster roll lunch with the freshest of lobster and 1 case of Bissell Brothers beer.

 

When do we go?

 

The boat leaves the dock at Spring Point Marina in South Portland, Maine at 6am and returns around 4pm (10 hours).  Fishing dates are weather dependent and usually are scheduled between July 15 and August 30.  Bidders are encouraged to be flexible in their schedules as we need to go when the tuna fish show up. 

 

What to bring

 

Bring a light jacket, hat, sunglasses, sun block and camera.

 

The Captain

 

Todd Colpitts holds a 100 Gross Ton Master Mariner Credential from the US Coast Guard and is trained in first aid and CPR.
