Item Description

BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON THIS 'BARRINGTON BROLLY" DONATION

The wood frame, with fibreglass ribs, came from France; the leather handle came from Italy; and, the custion-designed rain fabric, came from Japan.  All components are imported by Barrington Brolly.

The design on the fabric, was created by a graphic-designer for Joan, owner of Barrington Brolly, and the fabric was produced in Japan.

Joan wanted the caopy to a lot of flowers, along with a few other things, that you might find in a field of flowers.  And, she wanted bumble-bees, butterflies, and humming birds, amongst the flowers.  And, she wanted her business name (Barrington Brolly), on the fabric, but it was to look like it was the branch/leaf extensions, spelling out the name.

On other important item, for Joan, was that she wanted afew (not all) of the hummingbirds to be feeding from a flower, being held up to them, by a wee forest-faerie.  Since forest faeries are rumoured to stay hidden, she asked that they (faeries) not be too visible. So you have to look for them, holding up a flower, to a few of the hummingbirds.

Suggested retail price: $125

Some of Joan's earlier connissions, have included:
