Item Description
Josh Gibson was a catcher in the Negro baseball leagues - particularly the Pittsburgh Crawfords and the Homestead Greys – and baseball historians consider him among the best power hitters and catchers in the history of the game. In 1972 he became the second Negro league player to be inducted in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Celebrate Josh’s legacy with this very special collection of unique anniversary items including a limited-edition Homestead Grays Josh Gibson bobblehead, a 50th anniversary Hall of Fame induction collectable mini-bat and adult T-shirt from the Josh Gibson Foundation, the documentary “The Legend Behind the Plate: The Josh Gibson Story,” a Who’s Who of the Crawford s and Greys limited-edition poster, and an adult #JG20MVP T-shirt commemorating the 100th anniversary celebration of the first Negro National League game played on May 2, 1920.
