Item Description

Vintage Gorham Sterling Silver Bread Tray with Pierced Design and Roses. Marked with 3 hallmarks (lion, anchor, G), STERLING, and A2568 on the back. Very good condition with typical very light polishing marks. 12.5" x 7" x 2"

(Appears to be identical to one offered on eBay by a reputable seller. That one said to be 9.67 troy ounces.)

What a beautiful piece for special occasiions, or one to enjoy daily!

Gorham was one of the largest American manufacturers of sterling, and the White House has used Gorham silver services during many administrations. Founded in 1831, the original company existed until the 1960's.
