David Lee Black is an award-winning New England-based photographer and sculpture artist. Holding a BFA from the University of Missouri/Columbia, he has studied music, photography, and sculpture, receiving the Tully Loughran artist in residence in County Clare Ireland. David has recently exhibited his work at the AAM, Copley Society of Art and the Cambridge Art Association. David provides expressive arts therapy, photography workshops and visual artist performances. Passage is part of a series created by the artist in 2018 inspired by his mentor and friend, the late great artist David A. Lang.

Using the mystery of black and white photography, ballet models and vintage ladders, "Passage" was created in the natural environment near Lang's studio in Natick, MA.
