Item Description
Rare Dirndl is a woman-owned small business located in Lincoln Square. The business specializes in designer and custom-made dirndls (dresses traditionally worn in the Alpine regions of Germany).
Rare Dirndl was founded in 2010 and has been growing ever since. Designer and native Chicagoan Erika Neumayer started the clothing line when searching for a fashion-forward dirndl in America seemed impossible. Her first collection, Rainforest, pushed the boundaries by using unconventional dirndl fabrics, textures, and silhouettes.
The Mystery Box contents may include:
- Edelweiss earrings
- Scrunchies
- Stickers of German items like pretzels and beer
- Rare Dirndl enamel pins
- Zippered makeup bag with German-patterned fabric
- Edelweiss keychain
- Rare Dirndl Coloring Book
- German flags
- German temporary tattoos
- Prost! coozie
- Germany women's t-shirt
