Item Description
"How To Skin A Cod" by Yvette Ciancio
Medium: Acrylic
Size: 19" x 8"
Artist Statement:
I used samples of colors/techniques applied to, and removed from, ceramic tiles cheaper than canvas. When removed, the result is called a 'skin', hence the title. Normally, artists use these skins for jewelry, magnets, or in this case, a collage.
Artist Biography:
I started acrylic painting 3 years ago to combat stress. I've been on the North Shore 27 years still painting, and delving into DIY restoration.
