Item Description

Ruffed Grouse by Robert K. Abbett. 391/1780, 13" x 13", unframed. Signed. Stamp included. Print enclosed in a commemorative sleeve.

The Ruffed Grouse Society is a national non-profit conservation organization dedicated to improving the environment for ruffed grouse, woodcock, and other forest wildlife.

Robert K. Abbett is noted as one of America's contemporary masters of sporting and wildlife art. Bob is associated with the American Artists Group and the Society of Illustrators and is a member of the Society of Animal Artist. He has exhibited in numerous group and one-man shows, including the National Academy of Western Art Exhibition. Bob's work was selected for the first in the series of the Trout Unlimited Stamp Prints and for the 1982 Wild Turkey Stamp.
