Item Description
Join Synergy Music Teachers Kim and Sam in a recording session of Synergy's favorite songs. Up to 16 students can join us. Students will receive a professional recording of their session with Kim and Sam, including favorite songs from Synergy’s music program.
The recording session will be held at the historic Different Fur Studios located in San Francisco's Mission District, which is owned by Synergy Dad Patrick Brown (Earnie, Rainbow Room).
Different Fur Studios is one of San Francisco's oldest recording studios, founded in 1968 by synthesizer pioneer, musician, and composer Patrick Glesson.
Different Fur has recorded music from a wide range of artists, including major Grammy and Oscar-winning musicians and many important independent musicians.
Artists who have recorded at Different Fur include Neil Young, Brian Eno, David Byrne, Devo, Kronos Quartet, Al Di Meola, Bobby McFerrin, Herbie Hancock, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Joe Satriani.
Patrick and one of the studio's engineers will work with you during the recording session. Earnie and her dad, Patrick, will give you a tour of the studio.
