Item Description
On May 9, 1974, at the Harvard Square Theatre, Springsteen and the E Street Band opened for Bonnie Raitt. His performance inspired the rock critic Jon Landau to write in Boston's Real Paper, "I saw rock and roll future, and its name is Bruce Springsteen." The photograph, printed on museum-quality paper using the digital silver process, is of The Boss singing "For You" on that occasion; it is signed by the photographer, Barry Schneier, and comes from the rock and roll collection of Digital Silver Imaging. The book is a case-bound hardcover, 152 pages, and contains black & white and color photos from that May night, along with recollections from Schneier and the three living members of that era's E Street Band.
