ERIS was inspired by the Greek goddess of Chaos. Women-owned, and in a male-dominated industry, we want to be careful not to be cute, cautious, or overly concerned with appearances. Our ciders are beautiful, yes. But they’re also unconventional, unique, and brimming with life. Our brewpub space and facility are more awe-inspiring than pretty or charming. Building this company in Chicago and how we did it was a bold endeavor, and it’s one that directly represents our character.
We’re inspiring because we’re resourceful and original, and we dream big, not because we’re trendy or romantic. We honor histories of cider as a beverage, of our building, and of our community — but we don’t hark back to the Old World with our products. Rather, we use tradition as a launching point for developing our creative modern ciders.
