Item Description
Irene Moss immigrated to New York City from Hungary in 1929. Ever since her arrival at age 13, she studied art and showed her work in galleries throughout the Northeast, most notably out East in the Hamptons.
This poster shows one of her motifs, the crowded city streets of Manhattan, seen through a semi-abstract lens with an emphasis on color.
